This feminine sculpture is one of power and sacrifice. She steps down onto a ledge with closed eyes and outstretched arms. I can feel her inhale, holding strong to the beliefs that burn inside of her. We have all seen Faith (religious, spiritual, or personal in nature) create this kind of power in someone. I want to show faith in the universe as a personal journey to a fulfilled life. In many ways, this is me; believing in my Art, and succeeding at what I do. The stronger my faith, the more powerful my wings become. Even when cracks form, I believe they make me stronger because I do not falter. Doubt is merely the universe questioning our level of commitment to the path we must walk regardless.
