Life and Death are all around us. They are a consistent reminder to be grateful for what we have and who we share it with.  This sculpture, 'Egg and Bone', is an image I created to celebrate the cycle of our mortality.  In this cycle, I find that I rush things, rather than enjoy holding myself in the present moment.  There are no guarantees in life, when or where one goes from life to death.  So it is in the moment that I want to suspend this feeling of gratitude, for just Being.  And I want to thank all of those that met me during the journey and got to know me and were willing to share themselves with me.  We are imperfect, complex, and often irrational creatures, but let us agree on one thing; Life is a Gift.  And here we are... at the best point possible –  between Egg and Bone.
