I am so amazed at the children of generation Z and how they use their phones to learn about the world around them. My kids are seeing the news, understanding political debates and humor, learning new trends, how to cook, learning new languages, geography and history, music from the 70s and 80s, not to mention communicating and staying connected with friends around the world. Of course, too much technology is never good, but they have showed me how they can set time limits on social media and even meditate. I will never be able to compare my childhood experiences with theirs because of this singular device. Life was so much simpler and slower 4 decades ago. They know so much more than I did at their age. I am in awe of their capacity to absorb knowledge and adapt to this new world.
