My inspiration comes from my connection to the world, my relationships with others, and my relationship with myself. I don’t need to travel the planet or hire dancers to find a muse. My individual journey is inspiration enough. The figure to me is the perfect vehicle to communicate the human condition. My definition of success is to be a visionary through truthful and courageous artwork—work that communicates what it feels like to be alive in the world today. My goal is to make what feels real, not necessarily beautiful, in order to impact people and create lasting fine art.

The Oddest Media

MEDIA as a discussion As artists, we are clearly pushing the boundaries of materials more and more.  We are literally brushed aside and stepped over by curators, critics, and contemporary collectors if our chosen material […]

Form and Space

One of the things that have always bothered me about Sculpture is the Space that I fill up by creating it. That may seem funny, but please understand that for a sculptor, Space is our […]

For The One I Love

February 14 My Love and I were so lucky to have met that cold December night, dining next to one another, for we were mere strangers in a Manhattan restaurant.  On that first chance meeting, I […]
